I don’t know why these things are on my mind, but here they are. Five things I don’t like are:
1. Mustard
2. Pepperoni
3. Mint
4. those stringy things that stick to the sides of a banana
5. Christmas music before Thanksgiving
And speaking of Thanksgiving … enjoy this!
I was with you on #4, but I think I lost a little bit of respect for you when I got to #5. Christmas starts the day after Halloween. Period. :)
Thanks for putting up with us last night. Anybody who can keep smiling while dealing with tiny Lucas is ok in my book.
AMEN to the NO Christmas music BEFORE Thanksgiving. I am a HUGE fan of Christmas. I LOVE it and I LOVE the music! But "to everything there is a season." And when you listen to Christmas music before Thanksgiving and – like some – all year 'round (GASP!), it "cheapens" it, I think. Doesn't make it as special. Plus, Thanksgiving needs to be given more attention. However, having said that, I am excited to start thinking about Christmas (decorating for, listening to music, etc) on Friday!
Happy Thanksgiving to you, too, sweet Krista!
I hear that if you peel a banana upside down, it eliminates the strings. Kinda tough getting that end to rip, but supposedly that's how our primate cousins do it 'cause they're smarter than us. Lemme know how that works out for ya. :)
I thought Beth's comment was funny. And yes, I'm going to try it. I must be smarter than an ape. How can you not like mustard!? I am a condiment junkie. Our fridge consists of 95% condiments I'm certain. When my kids say there's nothing to eat in there I just say, "Look! We have pickles, mustard (4 kinds) mayo, miracle whip, A-1 Steak sauce, marinades, bar-b-q sauce, jelly…" Ok, I'm kidding. I don't make them eat condiments when they are hungry…it's even worse….VEGGIES!!! Aghhhhhh!
I'm thankful for YOU!
Hmmm, totally with you up until #5. Krista, Krista. How I love thee, but we must have our differences. Did you get my text? Hope Thanksgiving was fab!
