Waiting

Photobucket

This is Me. Waiting for the train. And the more I thought about it, the more I realized I seem to always be waiting. Waiting for the train every morning. Waiting for 5:00 and the work day to end. Waiting for my turn. Waiting for love. Waiting for the right moment to make my next move. Waiting to know what that next move is.

Maybe it’s time to stop waiting.

  1. My mom says that patience is "waiting happily." Hmmmm…but waiting needn't be sitting resigned, you can do a lot of great things while you wait that make it seem less like waiting…and more like living. I guess we are all "waiting" for different things.

  2. i have a whole little thing on "waiting"…but let's just say it's ironically become one of my favorite things. lessons come in the waiting (but when it's not imposed on you…STOP WAITING!…)

    xoxo

  3. I would rather wait for a train in the sunlight like you than wait on a jam packed freeway in a hot car.

ps- I'm also waiting for a lot of the same thing that you seem to be waiting for. So at least you are not alone there.

  4. I am not a waiter. (Though I once was a waitress. Ha ha.) I used to be. Then something horrible happened due to my waiting. Since then I do all I can in every single way possible in all of my endeavors and leave the rest up to Him. It has worked well for me. Of course now I'm accused of being impatient. Though what works well for one may not for another. Good luck in whatever it is you go for!
