I have one week to:
1. Finalize the menu and make the food
2. Finish the decorations
3. Decide which of my favor ideas I like best and make 20 of them
4. Gather the rest of the RSVP’s (WHY don’t people RSVP?!)
5. Hostess the best bridal shower of the year
6. Take her engagement photos
7. Attend the dress fitting
8. Smother her with attention
This is going to be the BEST week.
p.s. if anyone has attended a bridal shower that had a “must do this,” “must make this,” “must eat this,” or “must decorate with this if I ever hostess a shower” idea, please let me know.

I haven’t tried these but just got sent this link by a good friend of mine… http://kari-youcanmakeit.blogspot.com/2009/04/regular-brownies-into-banana-split.html
I also have a recipe for brownie bites, you make the brownies in mini-muffin tins, then pipe in a creamcheese/coolwhip mixture into each brownie and then put either raspberries or strawberries on top… they are super yummy.
I’m all about food right now. Or if it isn’t too cold you could make the best ice cream dessert ever. a container of vanilla ice cream, a container of pineapple sherbet – mix together then mix in a bag of frozen raspberries. I scoop them out into clear plastic cups and refreeze them… soooo good.
A game I just remembered that usually turns out pretty “funny” is you write down everything Karly says as she is opening presents and then read the list afterwards as things she will say on her wedding night.
That is all I can think of right now.
The invitations are GORGEOUS! You have the BEST taste.
Oh, and I don’t have any ideas. Sorry Charlie. But good luck, I’m sure whatever you do will be a hit!
From what I’ve seen, you throw an awesome shindig. Karly is so lucky! Besides the “keep the bows from the presents to make the rehearsal bouquet” thing, I don’t have anything to add. Maybe bridal shower bingo? Have fun!
Oh, Im so excited for Karly! The invintations are gorgeous, and I am sure you are going to do a fantastic job! If you need any inspiring ideas, or just like to browse (I know i do!) here is a website I LOVE to use for hosting ideas—-http://www.hostessblog.com/
Have fun, and I can’t wait to see how it turned out!
